01 / 03 · Moonrise over the flats Night · Silver gelatin print After a wet week the flats hold an inch of water and turn into the largest mirror in the West. I drove out onto them at dusk, set the tripod in the water and waited for the moon to come up over the range on the far side.
The reflection makes it the only print in the set that is symmetrical top to bottom, which is also why it is the one interior designers ask for first.
